I am happy to place this invaluable tool for the serious music student in our Rising World Foundation Library. I first discovered this fantastic book in 1971 in a research library. I then searched for a long time for a copy of my own. Today, the student needs to go no farther than this page. Flip through the book to grasp the thoroughness that the author has provided on the style of music that was composed during the time of the great composer Giovanni da Palestrina.
