Jack Kerouac (1958)

Jean-Louis Lebris de Kérouac (1922-1969), known as Jack Kerouac, was an American novelist and poet who was a pioneer of the “Beat Generation.” He achieved widespread fame and notoriety with his second novel, On the Road, in 1957. He went on to publish twelve more novels and numerous books of poetry. He was greatly influenced by American author Thomas Wolfe. (Wikipedia)
